## What is it?

The Parcel bundler keeps a `.parcel-cache` folder next to `package.json` so rebuilds are fast. It stores transformed files and build graphs. Only folders in projects untouched for 14 days are considered. Typically tens of MB to a few GB.

## What happens if you delete it?

Parcel rebuilds the cache on the next build or dev server start; that first build is slower.

## How to remove it properly

Stop Parcel, then move the folder to the Trash in Finder, or run `rm -rf .parcel-cache` in the project (permanent).
