Install in three steps

  1. Open MoreRoom.dmg from your Downloads folder.
  2. Drag MoreRoom into the Applications folder.
  3. Open MoreRoom from Applications or Launchpad. It is signed and notarized by Apple.

Full Disk Access, explained

macOS protects some folders, like Mail, Messages, Safari and other apps’ data. Unless you allow it, no app can measure them, so they’d be missing from your map. Granting Full Disk Access lets MoreRoom count them. It only measures sizes; it never reads, uploads or changes your documents.

  1. Open System Settings › Privacy & Security › Full Disk Access. (MoreRoom’s welcome screen has a button that takes you straight there.)
  2. Turn on MoreRoom. If it isn’t listed, click + and choose it in Applications.
  3. Quit and reopen MoreRoom, then scan again.

It’s optional: without it MoreRoom still works and shows protected folders as “not visible”. You can turn it off anytime in the same place.

Already bought Pro?

Open MoreRoom › Settings › Licence, paste your key and click Activate.

Lost your key?

Uninstalling

Quit MoreRoom and drag it from Applications to the Trash. That’s it.
