Acceptance of these terms
By installing or using MoreRoom, or by buying MoreRoom Pro, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you buy for an organisation, you confirm that you may bind it. If you do not accept these terms, do not install or use MoreRoom.
Your licence to use MoreRoom
MoreRoom is licensed, not sold. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use MoreRoom on Macs you own or control, in accordance with these terms. The free version may be used for personal and professional purposes, at no cost.
You may not: resell, rent, lend or sublicense MoreRoom; share, publish or sell licence keys; remove or work around licence checks; or decompile or reverse engineer the app, except where the law expressly allows it despite this restriction.
MoreRoom Pro
MoreRoom Pro unlocks additional features of the same app. A Pro licence can be activated on up to 3 Macs used by you; you can deactivate a Mac to activate another.
Pro Lifetime is a one-time purchase. It includes all future versions of MoreRoom for Mac, including major versions, for as long as we distribute the app.
Pro Yearly is a subscription. It includes all updates released while it is active.
Some Pro features are marked “Coming soon”. They are planned and will be included in Pro at no extra cost when they ship, but we do not promise a release date.
The app checks your licence with our server from time to time. If the server is unreachable, MoreRoom keeps working during a grace period; the free features never depend on it.
Prices, payment and taxes
Prices are shown on the pricing page: US$19.99 / €19.99 / £19.99 per year for Pro Yearly and US$39.99 / €39.99 / £39.99 once for Pro Lifetime. Euro and pound prices include VAT; elsewhere, applicable taxes are calculated at checkout and shown before you pay.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your licence key is shown right after payment and sent to the email address you give at checkout. The contract is concluded when your payment is confirmed.
Renewal, price changes and cancellation
Pro Yearly renews automatically every year at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the link in your receipt or by writing to us; Pro then stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and is not renewed.
If we change the price of Pro Yearly, the new price applies only from your next renewal, and we will tell you by email at least 30 days before, so that you can cancel if you wish.
Refund policy
30 days, no questions asked. If MoreRoom Pro isn’t right for you, write to contact@yando.com within 30 days of your purchase — or of a yearly renewal — from the email address you used, and we will refund the full amount to your original payment method. Refunds usually appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
When a Pro Lifetime purchase is refunded, its licence is revoked. When a Pro Yearly payment is refunded, the subscription is cancelled and Pro ends at the latest at the end of the current period.
Your licence key is delivered immediately after payment, at your request. If you are a consumer in the EU, the EEA or the UK, our 30-day refund is in addition to — and longer than — the statutory 14-day withdrawal period, which you can still invoke where it applies. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights, including for a product that does not conform to its description.
Your files
MoreRoom never removes anything on its own. Items you choose to remove go to the Trash first and can be put back with Undo; some items are marked “Review first” because they may contain data you care about. You decide what to remove, so please review items before emptying the Trash, and keep regular backups (for example with Time Machine).
Intellectual property
MoreRoom, its code, design, rule catalogue and documentation belong to Yando Pte. Ltd. or its licensors. MoreRoom and the MoreRoom logo are trademarks of Yando Pte. Ltd.. Mac and macOS are trademarks of Apple Inc.; MoreRoom is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple.
No warranty
To the extent permitted by law, MoreRoom is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, and we do not guarantee that it will be error-free or that every label it shows will suit your situation. This does not affect the statutory guarantees you have as a consumer.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the loss of data you chose to remove, and our total liability for any claim relating to MoreRoom is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them, in particular for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or to the mandatory rights of consumers.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using MoreRoom at any time. We may revoke a licence obtained fraudulently, charged back, or shared in breach of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive — intellectual property, no warranty, limitation of liability, governing law — survive termination.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page is the date of the version in force. The version in force when you bought applies to that purchase; significant changes for subscribers will be announced by email before they apply to a renewal.
Governing law and disputes
These terms, and any dispute about them or about MoreRoom, are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute.
Before any proceedings, please write to contact@yando.com: most issues are settled faster that way. Consumers in Singapore may also use the mediation service of the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE).
If you are a consumer in the EU, the EEA or the United Kingdom, the two paragraphs above do not take away rights you hold by law. You keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of the country where you live, including any rule that is more favourable to you than these terms. You may bring proceedings against us before the courts of that country, and we will bring any proceedings against you before them too. You may also be able to use an approved out-of-court dispute resolution body in your country.
Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement: these terms and the Privacy Policy replace any earlier agreement on the same subject.
- Severability: if a clause is held invalid, the rest stays in force.
- No waiver: not enforcing a clause once does not waive it.
- Assignment: you may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it as part of a reorganisation or transfer of the business, without reducing your rights.
- Force majeure: neither party is liable for a failure caused by an event beyond its reasonable control.
- Language: the English version is the binding one. Translations are provided for convenience; if a translation differs, the English text prevails, except where the law of your country requires otherwise.
