The short answer

No. Your data. Shrink it from its app; don’t delete the folder.

What is it?

Heroic Games Launcher creates a Wine prefix per Windows game in ~/Games/Heroic/Prefixes: a small Windows environment holding the game’s registry, settings and often its save files. Each typically takes a GB or more.

Windows environments that hold settings and game saves. Remove one only after its game is uninstalled and saves are synced.

What happens if you delete it?

A deleted prefix is recreated empty the next time the game runs, but the settings and any saves stored inside it are lost.

How to remove it properly

Uninstall the game in Heroic first and make sure its saves are synced (where the store supports cloud saves) or backed up. Then remove the prefix from Heroic, or move its folder to the Trash.

From the app itself: Heroic: open the game's settings to remove its prefix after uninstalling.

Before you delete it

Many games keep saves only inside the prefix, under drive_c/users; copy that folder first if in doubt.

How MoreRoom helps

MoreRoom recognises this as your data and never suggests deleting it. It shows how much space it takes, so you can shrink it from its own app.
