What is it?
Blender keeps preferences, the startup file, add-ons, extensions and presets in one folder per version (for example 4.2, 4.3) under ~/Library/Application Support/Blender. Old folders stay after you upgrade. They are usually small, but downloaded extensions and add-ons can make them larger.
